onl50t[39]% pwd /export/home/onl50t/inoue/VME-Driver/FRCdrv-2.10 onl50t[40]% ls -l total 6584 -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 3260697 Apr 13 14:22 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar.gz -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 94091 Apr 13 14:22 FRCdrv-2.10rel.pdf onl50t[41]% gzip -d FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar.gz onl50t[42]% ls -l total 24120 -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 12239360 Mar 21 01:45 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 94091 Apr 13 14:22 FRCdrv-2.10rel.pdf onl50t[43]% tar xvf FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar x FRCdrv-2.10.pkg, 12237824 bytes, 23902 tape blocks onl50t[44]% ls -l total 48040 -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 12237824 Mar 21 00:30 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 12239360 Mar 21 01:45 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 94091 Apr 13 14:22 FRCdrv-2.10rel.pdf onl50t[45]% onl50t[45]% pwd /export/home/onl50t/inoue/VME-Driver/FRCdrv-2.10 onl50t[46]% pkginfo -l FRCvme ERROR: information for "FRCvme" was not found onl50t[47]% (3-2). pkgadd を実行して、FRCvme をインストールする。 onl50t# pwd /export/home/onl50t/inoue/VME-Driver/FRCdrv-2.10 onl50t# ls -l total 48040 -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 12237824 Mar 21 00:30 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 12239360 Mar 21 01:45 FRCdrv-2.10.pkg.tar -rw-r--r-- 1 inoue kek 94091 Apr 13 14:22 FRCdrv-2.10rel.pdf onl50t# pkgadd -d FRCdrv-2.10.pkg The following packages are available: 1 FRCcpci Drivers for Sentinel(tm) PCI/CompactPCI(R) Bridge (sparcv9) V1.0 2 FRCctrl FORCE sysconfig driver (sparcv9) V1.3 3 FRCflash Flash Memory Driver (sparcv9) V1.2.1 4 FRCglm SCSI HBA Driver for Symbios 53C895/A (sparc) V1.0 5 FRCiprb Ethernet Driver for Intel 82558/9 (sparc) V1.1 6 FRCkmod UltraSPARC-IIi kernel module (sparcv9) 1.0.2 7 FRCvme FORCE VMEbus Drivers (sparcv9) V2.5 Select package(s) you wish to process (or 'all' to process all packages). The FRCkmod package provides a fix for this by replacing the UltraSPARC-IIi processor kernel module. Note 1: For Solaris 2.6 it is a prerequisite that patch 105181-10 has been applied before installing the FRCkmod package. Note 2: The FRCkmod package is not applicable to Solaris 2.5.1. There is no workaround for the described problem except to avoid high rates of VME read errors when accessing the VMEbus via mmap(). For example, data transfers done by using memcpy() will most likely panic if the accessed VMEbus address range is invalid. Note 3: It cannot be guaranteed that the FRCkmod package is compatible with later versions of kernel update patches or whether it can be provided for future OS versions. Installation ------------ The FRCkmod package and all patches are located in the "patches" subdirectory on the installation medium. The patches are also available via http://sunsolve.sun.com. For patch installation, go into the patch directory (e.g. /cdrom/cdrom0/patches/105181-10) and type ./installpatch . For installation of the FRCkmod package, go into the "patches" directory on the CD-ROM and type pkgadd -d . FRCkmod onl50t[60]% ok. FRCvme のインストールは正常に終了した。 (3-3).
