G-Link to S-LINK interface

LSC/LDC-D/S-33-W-5.0-125

DESCRIPTION

The G-Link to S-LINK Interface is one of the possible implementation of the S-LINK Interface Standard, where the G-Link chip set of Hewlett-Packard is used as physical layer.

The phyisical connections between the LSC and the LDC are electrical ones via coaxial cables, since no E/O and O/E converter, that can fit to the CMC S-LINK cards, is not available. As the return channel from the LDC to the LSD, the TAXI chips are used.

The LSC and the LDC have fully duplex/simplex version functions with a maximum transmition rate of 125 MByte/s.
